An established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Customs Director to lead a small team of Customs specialists, working as part of a wider Indirect Tax practice. Working with large UK and international businesses, you will provide strategic Customs advice, lead client relationships, and help drive the growth of a successful and collaborative practice.
Key Responsibilities
● Be market facing, leading business development and client relationship activities.
● Advise large corporate clients on complex customs tax matters.
● Build relationships with senior stakeholders and identify growth opportunities.
● Lead proposals and support winning new business.
● Mentor and develop junior team members.
● Collaborate across specialist teams to deliver client solutions.
To apply you will need to have significant Customs and Global Trade experience including current or very recent experience of operating at a senior level in a professional services firm. You will need a strong track record of client management, have a collaborative leadership style and be experienced in managing senior stakeholders. The role offers the chance to run a small team in a supportive environment with plenty of scope for progression and access to high profile clients with technically varied and interesting work.
