Your responsibilities as a US Licensed Customs Broker
You’ll provide specialist US customs and international trade advice, supporting clients with complex cross-border compliance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
● Advise on US customs regulations, import/export compliance and international trade requirements
● Review and determine Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications
● Provide guidance on customs valuation, country of origin, duty calculations and Free Trade Agreements
● Support customs audits, compliance reviews and regulatory disclosures
● Prepare and review import/export documentation to ensure compliance
● Identify duty savings, tariff mitigation and trade optimisation opportunities
● Partner with multinational clients on cross-border trade and supply chain projects
● Monitor changes in customs regulations and trade policy, advising clients on potential business impacts
Requirements
We’re looking for an experienced US Licensed Customs Broker with a strong background in customs and international trade. You’ll bring:
● A current US Customs Broker licence
● Strong knowledge of US customs compliance and trade regulations
● Experience in tariff classification and customs valuation
● Knowledge of import and export operations
● Experience identifying duty optimisation and cost-saving opportunities
● A strong understanding of cross-border trade and international customs requirements
● Experience supporting customs audits and regulatory compliance
● Previous experience advising multinational organisations on complex global trade matters
