A newly created VAT Manager/ Senior Manager opportunity has arisen within an established and high performing in-house tax team.
This role cover a broad array of indirect tax work, across compliance, advisory and high profile commercial projects. A fantastic chance to join a fast paced, ambitious and privately owned business during an exciting period of growth.
Taking ownership of global VAT compliance while acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. Providing strategic input into major transactions and business initiatives on matters such as asset/share sales and financing agreements, cross-border transactions and new market entry.
The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, commercial awareness and confidence working with senior management.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Ideally CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Has experience gained in a Big 4 or Top 20 firm, or a complex in house environment.
• Enjoys operating in a dynamic, fast moving business.
• Can communicate complex VAT issues in a clear, pragmatic way.
Please note that only those applicants who have a legal right to work in the UK and have an appropriate amount of practical relevant UK tax experience will be considered for this role. Candidates who are already registered with us will be automatically considered for this in-house VAT Role based in South Manchester / Cheshire
