If your progression has stalled or your current firm doesn’t offer you the opportunities you’re looking for, this new and expanding team could be the answer.
The role itself is pretty evenly split between onshore and offshore trust clients. If you don’t currently have offshore experience but are willing to learn and expand your knowledge base, this team would be very interested in hearing about you. There are both compliance and advisory elements to the work, to include accounts, accounts review and tax, but there is very little admin within the portfolio.
There is lots of work in the team already and more within the wider firm so there will never be a dull moment. You will manage your own portfolio of clients, including reviewing the work of more junior team members, and reporting directly to the head of team.
Ideally you will be ACA/STEP/CTA qualified with a minimum 5 years’ experience, although someone qualified by experience would also be of interest. The main thing is that you bring passion to your work and are a great team player. You will not be micro-managed but rather trusted to manage your clients and your workload in a hybrid working environment. The team itself is really friendly and collaborative and there are regular team get togethers and events. There is bags of scope for progression if that is of interest to you.
