In-House Part-Time Tax Manager - 3 days per week – Lancashire – Very agile working role with limited time in the office (if preferred) - £56,705 FTE + Benefits

Our client is a not-for-profit organisation based in Lancashire, and we are seeking to fill the role of Tax Manager to deliver all the tax compliance and planning activity for the Group. You will provide the strategic support and insight to senior stakeholders to support effective business decision making and provide the technical support required on a range of taxation issues.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the delivery of a high-quality tax service
Provide strategic tax advice, and be the strategic lead for undertaking effective and compliant tax planning for the Group
Ensure the timely submission of the Group’s VAT, corporation tax, employment tax and CIS returns.
Keep up to date with all legislative changes
Develop systems and processes to improve tax accounting and reporting
Ensure all tax risks are effectively managed
Set and manage tax budgets
Action internal and external audits
Ideally you will be a qualified tax professional with a proven track record of working in a tax related role. A team player you must be able to work using your own initiative, possess excellent communication skills and be able to lead a small team.
