VAT Supervisor

My client is a exciting, energetic accounting firm with huge growth ambitions across its tax service line. In particular, they have ambitions in VAT and Indirect Tax, meaning they are currently in the market for a VAT Senior or Supervisor. You will be part or fully qualified as an ACCA, CTA or Chartered Accountant and have at least 3 years of experience in VAT compliance, accounting and advisory work.

The client base of this firm ranges from family owned business with a close regional coverage to tech businesses exporting services or goods worldwide, so there is a great range or technical issues and also an interesting range of tax knowledge within the client finance team and ownership, so you need to be able to tailor the tone of any communication.

There is a very clear route to management in this team and the Partners have drive, passion and expertise which will help you to grow, as you will work very closely with them.

If your experience has all been in a Big 4 environment, you will need to demonstrate you have experience of hands-on VAT compliance and problem solving, not co-ordination of an outsourced delivery team, as that model is alien to the way my client operates and you will need to take personal responsibility for a portfolio of cases.
