Tax Director - Private Equity Tax
A leading Advisory firm is sourcing for an experienced Director to join a newly created team, focusing on private funds tax consulting, investor tax reporting, transactions tax and reward advisory. The client base is some of the largest global asset managers and alternative investment funds, across the asset classes including private equity, debt, real estate and infrastructure as well as venture capital and hedge funds.
The group's strategy is to work closely with our M&A and Real Estate transactions tax teams to provide joined-up comprehensive solutions to our clients, taking into account the specific tax and commercial issues and requirements of fund investors and fund management executives as well as investment-level considerations.
The ideal person will have knowledge of the PE market and any iteration of these businesses, along with a strong Tax technical capability across Corporate Tax and/or Private Client and/or Employment Taxes
At Director level, you should have a good appreciation and technical ability with respect to relevant tax legislation and case law and/or awareness of understanding of disguised investment management fee, carried interest and income- based carried interest UK tax legislation.
