With a total of 6 offices, this Top 80 accountancy practice in Macclesfield offers a variety of services in Accountancy, Audit and Taxation, as well as Corporate Finance. This firm are currently experiencing considerable growth and are therefore looking to recruit a corporate tax senior; this Manchester-based job opportunity has arisen due to the volume of new work won by the firm.


Your new role
As a corporate tax senior within this existing team of 5 in Macclesfield, you will be responsible for supporting the tax partner in providing advisory services to a variety of high turnover clients. Initially, you may take accountability for the associated compliance for these clients, only later to develop into a more reviewing and advisory focused role.You will provide advice to clients on matters such as; implementing the most tax effective structure for their business, taking full advantage of tax opportunities and reliefs, achieving the optimum capital or revenue tax treatment, reducing tax on disposals and maximising relief on acquisitions in addition to efficient corporate tax planning. You will also ensure clients meet the rigorous demands of compliance, including corporation tax self assessment.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this Manchester-based corporate tax job, you will have experience of managing your own portfolio of corporate tax clients from within a reputable practice and advising them on tax matters, or, currently be operating as an ambitious general practitioner looking to get into tax. The ideal candidate will be studying towards, or qualified CTA/ACCA/ACA. This role requires someone that is driven, proactive and possesses excellent communication skills.
