EMEA Tax Senior Manager, Basel (applicants welcomed from anywhere in Europe)

This is a global industrial multinational company with a long history, a great management team to build for the future and a tax department with a great reputation within the company.

The EMEA Tax Senior Manager position is the No.2 in the region for Tax and has day-to-day management of the EMEA tax team.

Responsibilities include overseeing tax operations including quarterly US GAAP reporting (FIN 48 & ASC 740), tax compliance done by the team, advice to the business and tax planning. There are constant business requests for advice including discussions about new initiatives, new agreements new sales streams, etc. There will also be M&A and corporate reorganisation projects to be supported.

This role will be high profile, based in the EMEA headquarters requiring the ability to work with and build relationships with business people. The role reports to, and will be the successor for, the EMEA Tax Director.

To fulfil the requirements you will need a minimum of 8 years of corporate international tax experience ideally gained from a combination of working in the Big 4 and industry, ideally with exposure to US multinationals.
