Private Client Partner, Exeter

A leading accountancy practice, based in Exeter, has a requirement for a Private Client Partner to join the team. The position has arisen through a combination of positive growth and planning for future succession. The successful individual will be joining at a key time in the firms development, as you will have opportunity to develop the tax advisory function and play a pivotal role in the wider development and direction of the firms Tax offering.

The firm acts for a very wide ranging client base and boasts a highly experienced and strong team of tax professionals, delivering wide ranging compliance and advisory services across personal tax. The firm acts for a very wide range of clients, delivering varied private client project work for directors, HNWIs, landed estates, trusts, wills, matrimonial cases, investigations and other wide ranging projects . The role and client base can moulded to a larger degree, around the right candidates technical strengths and areas of interest. You will be looking to grow and develop the firms private client offering and department and take a lead role in this. Dependent on the level of the individual joining , there is scope to mould the position at partner level, or at salaried partner designate level, with a view to progressing to partner, on a clear and achievable timescale.

Description

Joining the firm at Private Client Partner level , or designate, with clear path to progress, dependent on your experience and background and where you will fit in the firm, you will deliver personal tax and advisory services to a wide ranging client base of directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, wealthy individuals, families and trusts, farming/ landed estates clients. You will take a client fronting role overseeing the provision of advisory services across a wide spectrum of personal tax issues, IHT, CGT etc. You will lead and influence your team and look to drive the development of the private client tax services in this leading firm. You will develop the relationships, contacts and networks to bolster their private client offering further.

Profile

You will be operating as a Private Client Partner, or Designate/Associate level, CTA qualified and personal tax, advisory focused, your background may be within any of Top Tier, Ten accountancy practice environment, Mid Tier/Top 50 or large, medium, small independent firm background and you will be seeking a challenging new career opportunity as a Private Client Tax Partner / Tax Partner Designate within a leading firm of accountants.

Job Offer

Circa £70,000 - £120000 dependent on experience, background and level on a salaried basis, negotiable. Potential for equity level entry in addition
