Role brief
In conjunction with the current stand-alone Tax Director, Head of Tax lead a fast-growing Group Tax function.
Primarily a Corporate Tax role, with some International Tax and other tax disciplines from time to time (* though pure CT experience is fine, you can develop other tax skills on the job).
Manage multiple stakeholders (ambitious business professionals, CFO function, advisor’s (not afraid of Partner's and challenging them!) and various other supply chains in the business).
About you
You MUST have UK tax experience. Your current role will likely include somewhere between 20-60% compliance, reporting and some advisory.
You will be confident and relatively autonomous already – that doesn’t mean you won’t get support in this role, you will receive a lot of support from the existing head of tax but an innate ‘confidence’ is required.
You may be in a similar Industry already (E&R, O&G) or currently in an Advisory (Chartered Accounting firm) role. Previous In-House experience not required.
