Mixed/ Corporate Tax Manager

Lymm based firm looking to recruit a Corporate/ Mixed tax Manager to head up the team

Your new company
A specialist tax consultancy based in Lymm bringing together experience from large international accountancy firms and Big 4 across numerous consultants. Founded in 2013 this firm aims to make tax advice more accessible and more effective in meeting the needs of SMEs, OMBs and high net worth individuals; and to help other professional advisers provide a full service offering to their clients, and ultimately to help them protect and grow their practices.

Your new role
As a Mixed/ Corporate Tax manager you will work closely with the senior management team, looking for opportunities to grow and develop the corporate tax offering; as well as having responsibility for delivery of advisory projects in this area.

What you'll need to succeed
You will either be an experienced manager or senior manager working within a similar corporate or mixed tax advisory position, which must include experience of advising on some, or all, of the following: restructuring (share for share, hive-ups, demergers, incorporations), EIS, CGT planning and R&D tax relief claims. International expertise in these areas would be a distinct advantage. You will be commercially minded and driven and with a proven track record of dealing with entrepreneurial SME, and OMB clients. You will posses excellent communication skills and be confident in spotting new business opportunities.

What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts you will receive a competitive salary of between £35,000-£45,000 and 20 days leave in addition to taking a key role within the business' management team, helping the existing managers grow the tax offering, and ultimately the business both in Cheshire, and nationally. Opportunities to become a future stakeholder in the business are also available for the right candidate.
