A general 2 partner practice based in the Wirral supplying full and comprehensive services to a variety of clients. The partners and a highly qualified team provide a complete range of accountancy, advisory and planning services to ensure that your needs are met.

Your new role
Your new role as Tax Manager will be a standalone role with the support of a junior tax assistant. You will manage your own portfolio of clients ranging from HNWI's, partners and directors, sole-traders and pensioners and a small number of corporate clients made up mainly of SME's and OMB's. The role will predominantly involve the reviewing of tax returns by the accounts team, alongside planning and advisory work. You will be the first point of contact for Tax clients within the firm so it is crucial to be able to establish and maintain close client relationships and be able to spot new business.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role you will have a solid all round experience of both personal and corporate tax matters. You will be an excellent communicator and skilled to a senior level. You will be up to date with current tax legislation and ideally be ACA/ACCA or CTA qualified.
