5 partner specialist firm in Wilmslow looking to recruit a new Tax Assistant due to growth | £22,000-£24,000

Your new company
A five partner chartered accountancy practice, specialising in one particular industry. This Wilmslow based practice currently house around 40 members of staff from one office and provide an array of Accounts and Taxation services. Due to growth, this firm are looking to recruit a Tax Assistant to join their established team.

Your new role
As a Tax assistant, you will be responsible for initially assisting more senior Tax Advisers, with progressing responsibility for your own portfolio as you progress. You will be responsible for the initial contact with the client in obtaining client documentation and will then prepare the self-assessment tax return for manager review. You will handle any basic ad-hoc enquiries with sign off from a manager and assist in the general report writing and general Tax Planning advice. You will receive on the job training, and if necessary, be provided with study support towards you ATT qualification.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful candidate for this position, you will have worked as a tax assistant previously within practice and be comfortable in the preparation of Self-Assessment tax returns. You will be passionate about developing your career in Tax and will have excellent communication skills to liaise with clients. You will also be part way through, or willing to study towards your ATT qualification, if not already qualified.

What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts you will receive a salary of between £22,000-£24,000 + study support if required. You will also receive 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. You will receive an excellent opportunity with one the largest and leading firms of its kind in the UK.
