Senior Manager - Real Estate Tax - Birmingham

There are new opportunities within a leading tax practice for Senior Managers. The opportunity is within the real estate team which works as part of the wider tax practice focusing on tax advisory to clients based in UK and international property & infrastructure and fund managers. Working closely and as part of the corporate finance teams they provide tax structuring and tax due diligence services.

Working as a senior member of the team, successful candidates will have an opportunity to not only utilise what they know but broaden their experience across real estate, infrastructure and investment management industries. Candidates can increase their experience in corporate tax, income tax, capital gains tax, VAT, stamp duty, and overseas tax regimes.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

- Providing tax structuring, tax due diligence and restructuring advice on a wide range of transactions

- Carrying out detailed technical research, being the first point of contact for many clients, coordinating activities with other teams across the business, taking on responsibilities for the delivery of high quality compliance and reporting services

- Delivering the client relationships together with other teams in the business.

- Successful candidates will be qualified CTA or ACA/CA or equivalent together with a good knowledge of UK corporate tax and familiarity of other tax and accounting areas. M&A tax would be advantageous.
