About the role

Experience of delivering UK tax advisory and compliance work to international groups, as well as the kind of skills that any Senior Associate in practice would be expected to display: portfolio management, delegation, day-to-day client handling etc. A track record of work-winning would also be desirable as would any experience in advising clients through a deals process. We are looking for individuals who are experienced in dealing with clients and client teams who operate in a number of territories. You will also be expected to show an awareness of wider business and economic issues generally.

The roles will predominately be to support the senior team in servicing existing clients and growing the business. In addition to becoming involved with existing clients, an enthusiasm to win work and build the business is key. Projects will be varied and wide ranging, ranging from helping structure global expansion to assisting on transactions and helping our clients secure innovation-based tax reliefs.

You will receive full support from the Partners, Directors and Senior Managers and from internal technical specialists based in the region and nationally. PwC exists to solve important problems. Essential skills and experience

Practice-trained finance professional with a relevant professional qualification (eg ACA/ACCA/CTA)
Experience of advising multi-national groups on a variety of UK tax matters
Proven skills in portfolio management, delegation and assignment management credentials
Strong interpersonal skills including experience of client handling and sustaining relationships over a period of time
Business acumen, in terms of an interest in and understanding of broader global business issues, particularly in the technology and life-sciences industries.
Analytical skills and an ability to solve complex problems in a collaborative and creative way.
Evidence of work-winning is desirable
