The Advisory Services practice within the firm helps clients identify and address complex international issues related to tax, accounting, entity structure, payroll, transfer pricing, employment law, local HR, and a host of related areas.
Due to continued growth the organisation currently has a career opportunity for an International Corporate tax manager based out of their San Francisco office. Reporting to one of the Senior Managers in the Direct Tax Advisory team (Corporate & International Tax, 25 staff), this US based hire will specialize in delivering advice within the Americas region, utilizing the technical expertise to deliver projects, whitepapers, expert advice and services in a variety of areas.
The ideal individual for this role will have either lived or worked within the Americas region and possess some international experience within a Big 4/ mid-tier or multinational advisory services environment. You should also have strong people, project, technical, communication and analytical skills. We are looking for a combination of experience with and a knowledge of an area of international business matters, along with a sophisticated understanding of business drivers that will allow you to serve clients effectively, and a level of professionalism suitable for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
The position would suit a self-motivated candidate, keen for a genuine immersion in all areas of Corporate & International Tax, working alongside and learning from an experienced and committed team of tax professionals. You will need to have at least 4 years international tax experience working for international consulting firm, or Big 4 / mid-tier accounting/tax/professional services firm. US domestic tax knowledge is beneficial and knowledge of Transfer Pricing. CPA qualification or JD/LLM is essential.
