Private Client Tax Senior
£28,000 - £34,000 (Dependent on experience)
Accountancy Practice Recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading and highly reputable regional firm of accountants who are seeking to recruit a Private Client Tax Senior to join their Birmingham team.
The role will involve managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including HNWIs, company directors and sole traders for whom you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns.
There will be opportunities for the successful candidate to gain exposure to more complex advisory work as the role develops.
The ideal candidate will be ATT qualified, CTA part qualified or qualified by experience and will have a wealth of experience in Personal Tax work within a practice environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation of personal tax returns
Reviewing junior staff's completion of personal self-assessment tax returns
Providing guidance, training and support to junior staff
Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
Assisting a tax partner with tax consulting work relevant to HNWI and trusts when required
Build and maintain strong client relationships
ATT Qualified / CTA Part Qualified / Qualified by experience
Strong Personal Tax experience from practice
