A UK tax assistant job in the heart of Liverpool city centre, paying a basic salary of £35,000 + benefits for a exciting organisation experiencing significant growth.

Your new company
I'm working on behalf of a highly reputable UK retail organisation operating in the heart of Liverpool city centre, with numerous other sites across the country. They are now looking to bring a UK Tax Assistant on board to join their already established tax team.

Your new role
Assisting with the preparation and submission of VAT returns and the preparation of corporation tax returns/tax reporting for the organisations retail entities. You will also be the primary contact with finance teams for employment and CIS queries. Helping to improve tax sensitive processes and manage risk across VAT, corporation tax and employment tax in the UK.

What you'll need to succeed
I'm very keen to speak to candidates with extensive VAT, employment and corporation tax knowledge. Good understanding of accounting and business processes aswell as strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to create effective relationship with stakeholders.
ATT or equivalent qualification as a minimum.
