Experienced personal tax interim temporary consultant job with dynamic firm of accountants in Bournemouth

Your new firm
You will be working for a technologically driven firm of Chartered Accountants, who specialise in the provision of accountancy, taxation and business advice to freelancers and professionals trading through their own Limited Companies. The firm provides an online accounting solution, tailored specifically to the growing "flexible workforce" sector. It covers all of the UK and delivers the highest levels of customer service.

Your new role
Based on the outskirts of Bournemouth, the firm is looking for a talented tax interim to work directly alongside the technical director and take responsibility for the delivery of specialist tax products to its customers. This is a three-month contract role, with the possibility of further rolling extensions.

You will act as the primary contact point between customers on implementation of specialist products they provide, working directly for the Technical Director and alongside the clients Personal Accountant (client relationship manager). You will coordinate and be responsible for the delivery of specialist products to each client along with management and implementation of transactions, tasks and overall delivery of products.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will possess a mix of good practical tax knowledge combined with general accounting experience, preferably with +2 years 'hands on' experience gained within a small to medium sized accountancy firm in a client facing role.
The use of IT and various software packages is widespread and will involve accurate communications and effective time management.
Commercial awareness and being able to see the "wood for the trees" would be an asset.
The role requires sound communication skills and good organisational abilities and would suit an individual who enjoys engaging with clients.
Attention to detail and accuracy are important as well as excellent interpersonal skills and you will need to be able to build trust and relationships with customers that possess a range of technical understanding.
