Clark Wood is delighted to be supporting a well-established accountancy practice for a fantastic opportunity which has arisen for a VAT Manager or Senior Manager to join their growing specialist indirect tax team. You'll work with a varied client portfolio across multiple sectors, helping businesses navigate complex VAT matters while delivering practical, commercially focused advice.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and playing an active role in the growth of a successful tax team.

As part of the indirect tax team, you will:

- Provide VAT advisory services to a wide range of clients across different industries.
- Advise on complex VAT and indirect tax issues, delivering practical solutions tailored to business needs.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted adviser.
- Support business development activities and identify opportunities for growth.
- Review technical VAT matters and communicate advice clearly to clients and stakeholders.

About You

- Strong VAT technical expertise gained within practice, industry, or a specialist tax environment.
- Experience advising clients on a variety of complex VAT issues.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commercial mindset with an interest in business development.
