Tax Director - Northampton

Our client is a top 40 accountancy firm who seek a CTA or ACA qualified Tax Director. You will be the leading figure in their Tax department in Northampton; you will play a critical role in shaping and driving our tax strategy. You will be responsible for providing high-quality tax advisory services, managing client relationships, and leading a team of tax professionals. This position requires a deep understanding of UK tax law, extensive experience in tax advisory and compliance, and the ability to deliver strategic tax solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Lead, manage and grow the tax advisory and compliance practice, providing strategic direction and ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services.
• Develop and implement innovative tax strategies and solutions to optimise tax positions for our clients.
• Advise clients on a wide range of tax issues, including tax planning, compliance, M&A, international tax, and transfer pricing.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for business development and growth.
• Opportunity to lead a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional development.
• Ensure compliance with UK tax laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes in tax legislation and advising clients on the implications.
• Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver comprehensive and integrated services to clients.
It is likely that you will have 10 years plus of experience in tax advisory roles, with a significant portion spent in a senior leadership capacity and extensive experience working within a professional services firm or a large tax department.
