I'm currently working with a leading Banking Corporate Tax team in London that is looking to hire at Manager level.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants exposure to a genuinely diverse range of banking clients. The team works with some of the largest and most complex banks in the market, alongside challenger banks, fintech businesses and companies operating within the crypto and digital assets space.

What really stands out about the opportunity is the variety of work. Rather than being restricted to one area of tax, you can build experience across corporate tax compliance, M&A, international tax and wider advisory projects, depending on the needs of your clients and where you want to develop your own specialism.

The team takes a very client-led approach. The work is tailored around each organisation and the tax issues they are facing, meaning you'll have the opportunity to build direct client relationships early on and develop a genuine understanding of their businesses.

The work

You'll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of Banking & Capital Markets tax matters, including:

* Corporate tax advisory
* Corporate tax compliance
* International tax
* M&A and transaction-related tax projects
* Wider banking tax advisory
* Managing and developing client relationships
* Working alongside specialists across different areas of tax
* Supporting and developing junior team members
* Business development and identifying opportunities across key accounts

The breadth of the work means you can develop a genuinely rounded skill set rather than becoming too narrowly focused on one area of corporate tax.

* Banking Corporate Tax

* International Tax
* M&A / Deals Tax
* Fintech or wider Financial Services backgrounds

You don't necessarily need to have spent your entire career specialising in Banking. Someone with strong corporate tax experience and an interest in developing within the Banking & Capital Markets sector could also be relevant.
