An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior Trusts & Estates tax professional to take a leading role within an established and growing practice in Winchester, Hampshire.

This is a senior, commercially focused position suited to someone with significant experience across complex trusts and estates who is looking to combine technical leadership, client advisory work and business development.

The successful individual will take ownership of a sophisticated client portfolio, provide high-level advice on complex and often sensitive matters, and play an important part in the continued development and profile of the firm's Trusts & Estates offering.
Your Responsibilities

    Take ownership of a portfolio of complex and high-value Trusts & Estates clients, developing long-term relationships and becoming a key point of contact for strategic advice.

    Provide specialist guidance across a broad range of trust and estate matters, using your technical knowledge to deliver practical and commercially focused solutions.

    Oversee the delivery of trust compliance work, including accounts, tax computations, tax returns and Inheritance Tax reporting, ensuring all work meets the required technical and professional standards.

    Work closely with senior clients and their wider professional advisers, offering clear and confident guidance on complex issues and longer-term estate planning.

    Identify opportunities to broaden and strengthen the firm's Trusts & Estates service, contributing ideas and initiatives that improve both client experience and commercial performance.

    Support the firm's business development strategy by developing new opportunities, strengthening relationships with professional referrers and contributing to the firm's reputation within the market.

    Provide technical leadership across the wider business, acting as a point of reference for colleagues dealing with complex Trusts & Estates matters.

    Collaborate with teams across different offices, sharing expertise and helping to promote consistency and best practice.

    Contribute to the development of the wider Trusts & Estates team through mentoring, knowledge sharing and technical support.

    Champion quality and technical excellence across both advisory and compliance work, ensuring consistently high standards of service.

    Keep abreast of developments in trust and estate taxation and use this knowledge to inform client advice and the ongoing development of the firm's services.

About the Role

The position offers significant scope for an established Trusts & Estates specialist to influence the direction of the practice while continuing to work closely with a sophisticated client base.

You will have the opportunity to combine technical expertise, senior client advisory work, leadership and business development, making a meaningful contribution to the continued growth of the Trusts & Estates function from the firm's Winchester office.
