Head of Tax - Real Estate - 6 months

Head of Tax interim tax job in London requires an experienced Head of Tax who has real estate or property experience.

Reporting to the Group Head of Tax who is located overseas, the Head of Tax will manage the UK tax affairs along with a portfolio of European jurisdictions. UK corporate tax compliance and reporting is managed by the Tax Manager who reports into this role, and is outsourced in the other jurisdictions. Therefore, taking a high level review of compliance is required, along with being hands on in the tax reporting duties for the forthcoming year end process.

Tax advisory duties will involve the current and pipeline of property acquisitions and disposals the business are involved in, and these will amount to a large part of the role along with liaising with advisors.

To be considered for this position it is essential to have a real estate or property tax background, as experience in dealing with service charges, rents and landlords is required. The role will suit a tax professional who has operated at a senior level within tax, to be able to effectively manage the Tax Manager and the broad tax requirements of the business.

Commencing ASAP and for a 6 months duration, this role will run through to Spring 2027, providing the successful applicant with excellent remuneration, and modern and amiable work space.
