New Private Client Opportunity - PE Backed Firm - Edinburgh

A growing PE-backed professional services firm is strengthening its Private Client team in Edinburgh and is looking for an experienced tax professional to take ownership of complex advisory work, develop key client relationships and play a visible role in the continued growth of the practice.

The Role:

The role offers genuine scope to become a recognised specialist across Inheritance Tax, Trusts, Estates, succession planning and shareholder transactions, while taking the lead on technically demanding projects and providing practical, commercially focused advice.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will manage multiple assignments, oversee junior team members, review complex Self Assessment returns and work closely with external advisers where required.

They will also contribute to the wider direction of the team by identifying new opportunities, developing existing relationships and helping shape the growth of the Private Client offering. Strong technical research skills, confident client communication and the ability to turn complex tax issues into clear, workable solutions are essential.

Requirements:

A relevant qualification such as CA, ATT, CTA, STEP or equivalent is expected, alongside substantial Private Client advisory experience and previous team management responsibility. Knowledge of the interaction between UK and Irish capital taxes would be advantageous.
