Transfer Pricing Director (In-House)

About the job
Our client, an instantly recognisable technology business are looking to hire a TP Director as the business continue to expand internationally. Growth by M&A shows no sign of slowing, and the Group Tax function is evolving as they look to hire a TP director, built to give the business a single, senior owner of TP strategy as the group continues to integrate acquired entities into its structure.
This is a rare opportunity to build and shape a transfer pricing function from a position of genuine seniority, within a business whose brand needs no introduction.

The Role
Reporting to the Group Head of Tax, you will take full ownership of transfer pricing for the global group - from policy design through to documentation, defence, and integration of newly acquired businesses. You'll be the senior TP voice in the room for M&A due diligence and post-deal integration, working closely with corporate development, treasury, and finance leadership across the countries the group trades in.

Key Responsibilities
Own the group's global transfer pricing policy, ensuring consistency and defensibility across an expanding and increasingly complex entity structure
Lead TP due diligence and post-acquisition integration, designing intercompany arrangements for newly acquired businesses and unwinding legacy TP positions where needed
Oversee master file, local file, and CbCR compliance across all jurisdictions, working with in-country teams and external advisers
Manage transfer pricing audits and enquiries, acting as the primary point of contact with tax authorities globally
Draft and maintain intercompany agreements, and ensure operational transfer pricing is reflected accurately in the group's ERP and finance systems
Partner with treasury on intercompany financing arrangements, including loans, cash pooling, and guarantees
Monitor the interaction between transfer pricing and Pillar Two, briefing the Head of Tax on exposure as the group's footprint grows
Build out a small team as the function scales, and act as the go-to TP adviser for the wider business

About You
ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), with deep transfer pricing specialism built either in a Big 4 firm, a large multinational in-house function, or a combination of both
Track record of advising on TP in an M&A context - due diligence, structuring, and post-deal integration - is highly desirable given the acquisitive nature of this group
Confident operating at pace across multiple jurisdictions, comfortable with ambiguity, and used to building process rather than simply maintaining it
Strong stakeholder management skills, with credibility to influence at Head of Tax and CFO level
Excellent communicator, able to translate technical TP positions into commercial terms for non-tax audiences

Operating with a hybrid working model, 3 days per week in the office in West London.
