An established professional services business is looking to appoint a Senior Manager specialising in Corporate Tax and Transactions to join its expanding Energy & Natural Resources team. This is a high-profile opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working with complex businesses and wants to take a leading role in strategic and transaction-focused projects.
The successful candidate will advise a varied portfolio of businesses operating across areas such as energy, utilities, infrastructure, natural resources and related industries. The role will provide exposure to a broad range of commercially significant projects, including acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, investments, financing arrangements and cross-border matters.
Working closely with senior colleagues and clients, the Senior Manager will take responsibility for delivering high-quality tax advice, identifying key risks and opportunities, and turning complex technical matters into clear commercial recommendations. There will also be significant involvement in client relationship management, business development, proposals and pitches, alongside opportunities to work collaboratively with specialists across different tax disciplines and jurisdictions.
The role will suit a CTA, ACA, CA or similarly qualified tax professional with strong UK corporate tax experience and a background in the Energy & Natural Resources sector. Candidates should demonstrate strong commercial judgement, analytical ability and communication skills, together with the confidence to manage projects, develop client relationships and lead and mentor more junior colleagues.
