Deal Advisory Tax Senior Manager - Financial Services

A well-established top-tier professional services business is looking to strengthen its Financial Services tax advisory team with an experienced Senior Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working on transactions and wants greater exposure to sophisticated clients, senior stakeholders and commercially important projects.

The role will focus on advising investors and financial services businesses on the tax implications of transactions and strategic activity. Projects will cover areas such as acquisitions, disposals, due diligence, restructuring and transaction planning, with opportunities to work on both domestic and international assignments.

The successful candidate will take a leading role in managing client work, providing practical and commercially relevant tax advice and coordinating with specialists where required. They will also have the opportunity to develop client relationships, contribute to winning new work and support the development of more junior team members.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Strong UK corporate tax experience
* Relevant experience in transaction tax, M&A or financial services tax
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
* A commercial approach to delivering tax advice
* Experience managing projects and developing junior colleagues
* An interest in business development and growing client relationships
* CTA, ACA, CA or equivalent professional qualification
