Group Treasurer

A leading international consumer products group is seeking a Group Treasurer to lead its Treasury function across a complex, multi-national business operating in more than 90 countries. Reporting to a senior finance executive, this is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for liquidity, foreign exchange risk management, treasury governance, banking relationships and strategic business partnering across Europe and international markets. The position has become available following the planned retirement of a long-standing and highly respected incumbent who has built the function over many years. Office location is Woking.

The successful candidate will lead a well-established team supporting significant multi-currency cash flows, substantial transactional FX exposures and a broad range of treasury activities including working capital optimisation, treasury technology, risk management and support for corporate development initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to influence key business decisions, work closely with senior finance leadership and help shape the future direction of the treasury function whilst maintaining a strong focus on governance, controls and operational excellence.

Previous experience within multinational consumer, manufacturing, industrial or similarly complex businesses would be advantageous.
