A highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Droitwich is looking to recruit an experienced Corporate Tax Senior to join its expanding tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Tax professional with UK accountancy practice experience to join a progressive firm offering exposure to a diverse client portfolio, excellent career progression, and a supportive working environment.
Working closely with Tax Managers and Partners, you will manage your own portfolio of corporate clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services to owner-managed businesses, SMEs and larger corporate groups across a wide range of industries.
The RoleAs a Corporate Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing corporate tax compliance while assisting with a broad range of advisory projects. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical expertise and progress their career within a successful and growing practice.
Key Responsibilities

- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns and computations
- Assisting with a range of tax advisory projects, including restructures, capital allowances and R&D tax relief claims
- Supporting tax planning assignments for owner-managed businesses and corporate groups
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional tax planning and advisory services
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working closely with Managers and Partners on complex tax matters
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the corporate tax team

Skills & Experience

- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or studying towards CTA)
- Previous experience working within the corporate tax department of a UK accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation
- Experience managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to client service
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
