Clark Wood is partnering with a highly regarded independent firm of accountants in Worcestershire, seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Partner to lead and grow their Private Client Tax Services team.
This is a senior-level opportunity for an ambitious tax professional with strong expertise in trusts, inheritance tax, and agricultural tax matters, looking to play a key role in shaping the firm’s advisory services and driving growth.
The Role

- Lead private client tax advisory projects, focusing on trusts, estates, inheritance tax planning, and agricultural clients
- Provide expert advice on complex client portfolios, including high-net-worth individuals and family businesses
- Oversee review and sign-off of personal and trust tax returns, ensuring technical excellence
- Advise on cross-border tax matters, HMRC enquiries, and offshore structures where required
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the firm’s advisory services and increase revenue
- Support and mentor senior tax professionals, fostering team development and leadership

The Candidate

- CTA qualified (STEP qualification desirable)
- Extensive technical knowledge in private client taxation, particularly trusts, estate planning, and agricultural tax
- Proven ability to develop and maintain high-level client relationships
- Commercially minded, with experience in business development and revenue growth
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing and developing teams
