An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced International Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join a leading professional services firm with a dedicated focus on financial services. This role offers exposure to an impressive client base across banking, insurance, and asset management, including both established multinationals and fast-growing market entrants.

The Opportunity

The global tax landscape is evolving rapidly, creating significant demand for specialists who can help financial institutions navigate complexity, manage risk, and identify opportunities. This role provides the chance to work on a wide variety of projects such as:

* Market entry and expansion planning
* Pre- and post-transaction structuring and integration
* Business model transformation and rationalisation
* Cross-border financing and capital optimisation
* Responding to global tax initiatives and regulatory change
* Tax diligence and structuring on high-profile M&A transactions

Key Responsibilities

* Build and strengthen client relationships through exceptional delivery
* Manage complex international tax projects from start to finish
* Provide commercially focused technical advice to senior stakeholders
* Spot opportunities for clients and contribute to proposals
* Lead, mentor and support junior colleagues to achieve their potential

Skills & Experience

* Significant experience in international tax, ideally with financial services clients
* ATT / ACA / CA / CTA qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts
* A track record of successfully managing people and projects
* Commercially minded, adaptable, and client-focused
