Group Tax Manager – FinTech – 12 Months FTC

A growing FinTech with a focus on B2B lending is looking to hire an interim Group Tax Manager for a 12-18 month maternity cover.

This role reports directly into the Group Finance Director and will be responsible for all aspects of corporate tax and VAT compliance, leveraging heavily on outsource providers and advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax compliance across corporate tax and VAT
• Act as point of contact for outsource providers and tax advisors, as well as HMRC
• Advise the business on the impact of new product launches on tax strategy
• Work with advisors on the company’s PESM arrangement
• Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and advise on the implications for ongoing and future M&A activities

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a tax role with exposure to both corporate tax and VAT (weighted either way)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent) with a strong academic background
• FS experience would be very beneficial

• A competitive salary of circa £100,000 to £120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus bonus and package
• 100% remote working if desired, or office based one day a week
