Our client is looking for an Associate Tax Director in their transaction tax team to be based in Reading, Southampton or Bristol.

Join this team as an Associate Director in Transaction Tax, where you'll be at the heart of driving success for entrepreneurial organisations. Our client specialises in providing top-notch advice and solutions to businesses that are the backbone of Britain's economy - vibrant, growth-oriented ventures that thrive on innovation and ambition.

As an Associate Director within the Transaction Tax team, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your horizons and dive into the most exciting financial operations and business deals out there. The Advisory team is renowned for delivering value-led advice and outcomes, backed by an in-depth understanding of various industries and markets. From strategy to operations, from technology to risk advisory, you'll work alongside experts who excel at navigating complexities and delivering results.

Here's what you'll do:

* Lead and develop the Transaction Services business within Corporate Tax, driving growth and nurturing team members.
* Manage larger engagements, ensuring project execution and delivery to timelines, while overseeing other service lines.
* Spearhead the development of new service stream practices, staying ahead of market trends and client needs.
* Cultivate strong and sustainable client relationships, demonstrating ownership and a clear understanding of their businesses and industries.
* Showcase your technical expertise and mentorship skills, guiding team members towards their career goals.
* Drive business development efforts, converting opportunities into future corporate finance work and identifying new project opportunities.
* Contribute to the development of new business relationships, marketing strategies, and business proposals.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

* ACA/ACCA qualification (or overseas equivalent), or relevant work experience.
* Significant experience in an advisory corporate tax department, with a proven track record of successful business development.
* Previous management experience, coupled with good knowledge of MS Office.
* For those involved in Capital Markets transactions, a thorough knowledge of relevant legislation.

At its core, our client believes in collaboration, mutual support, and respect. They invest in their people, providing the resources, frameworks, and opportunities for growth and development. With a culture that celebrates diversity and innovation, they're shaping the future together, empowering you to think creatively and achieve your personal and career ambitions.
