Your key responsibilities
The role of GST Senior Associate encompasses a range of key responsibilities, such as overseeing or providing support for a portfolio of GST compliance clients. The position involves active participation in various activities including GST ACAP and ASK reviews, GST health checks, and GST process reviews. This role also entails integration within a diverse multi-disciplinary team, particularly in transactional endeavours like vendor and purchaser due diligence. Providing assistance to clients during IRAS inquiries and audits is another important facet of the role. Nurturing and cultivating client relationships is a significant aspect, alongside contributing to marketing and business development initiatives. Finally, this role also involves offering guidance and coaching to associates and interns, reinforcing a culture of support and growth within the team.
Requirements
The optimal candidate for this role is expected to possess Singapore Permanent Residency or equivalent residency status. A recognised bachelor's degree in a comparable accounting qualification is a prerequisite.
Furthermore, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within the tax realm is imperative. The pursuit of, or progress towards, accreditation from the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP) would be an advantageous additional qualification.
The role mandates adeptness in efficiently managing intricate and comprehensive information with meticulous attention to detail, all while effectively overseeing multiple engagements concurrently.
