Interim Head of Tax - UK&I - 6 months

Interim Head of Tax job for a 6 months period, focusing on UK and Irish tax, requires an experienced Group Tax Manager or Head of Tax, with UK direct and indirect tax experience.

Joining an internationally recognised brand, the Head of Tax for UK&I reports to the UK&I Finance Director and into the Global Head of Tax (overseas). With 5 reports covering corporate and indirect taxes, this role requires being in the London office 2-3 days per week with the remainder of the time wfh.

Key responsibilities will involve:

* Continue with the current goals and objectives for the tax team, including personal development and L&D opportunities.
* Support the tax team on projects and to act as an escalation point.
* Ensure compliance and project deadlines are met across the taxes.
* Support a finance transformation project.

To be considered for this role you will have operated at a senior level within an in-house tax team and be adaptable to performing hands on tax tasks, as well as working on a strategic basis.
