Senior VAT Consultant - 15 months

Senior VAT Accountant interim VAT job in Essex requires an experienced VAT Accountant for this 15 months role.

Joining a VAT team of 7, as part of a larger tax team, this role is for a 15 months period, therefore, taking you through the whole of 2023. The focus of the role is on:

* Review of VAT returns from the UK and EMEA region, prepared by other team members.
* Provide the final decision and sign off before the submission of returns.
* Provide advice on VAT queries from the business.
* Assist in system development and improvements.

To be considered for this role you must have VAT return preparation experience and be at a level where you can step up to be able to review, or already have VAT review experience. UK or overseas VAT experience is acceptable.

As this role can be predominantly worked from home (within the UK), it does require a weekly or fortnightly visit to the office in Essex.

The duration of this contract secures you the role to the end of next year, with potential longer term opportunities within the company thereafter.
