Senior Director, Transfer Pricing and Controversy

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Tax in this US headquartered leader in its industry, this is about complex TP model development and defence, M&A planning and tax audit defence. The Senior Director, Transfer Pricing and Controversy will lead global tax controversy strategies including interfacing with tax authorities. It leads a team of five Transfer Pricing Directors and Senior Managers. It will also advise on tax controversy and transfer pricing aspects of business expansion including new market entry, supporting new product / service offerings, reorganizations, M&A, etc.

The role requires a leader who is able to make decisions with conviction. Proven experience leading tax controversy across multiple jurisdictions is important along with an ability to lead and motivate a team that is based around the world. 12+ years of experience at Big 4 / Big Law advising multinational clients on complex tax planning & transfer pricing strategies or the equivalent in-house experience. Law degree & advanced tax certification/degree (i.e. LLM, MST) is required.
