This Manchester-based independent accountancy practice has progressed from strength to strength. They have seen notable growth in recent years and are now a firm of over 60 staff. They are a highly reputable firm within the north west that have over 95% of their work be referred through word of mouth. They operate a general practice that services clients' needs, spanning accountancy, taxation, corporate restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, retirement planning and more.

Your new role
This central Manchester-based job opportunity is to join the practice's personal tax team. You will be provided your own allocation of varied clients. These range across all type of work, including that of non-UK residents to draw upon international expertise. The role will be predominantly compliance in nature, however advisory pieces crop up often and you will be able to take your expertise of a particular client and advise them accordingly, i.e. personal income advice. Completing self-assessment tax returns for a number of clients simultaneously will be a significant part of this job.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to come from a practice background and ideally have some personal tax experience. You need to be able to prepare, review and submit personal tax returns. Also previous experience managing a portfolio would be useful.
