Tax Manager Germany - based in Luxembourg or Duisburg

Our client, a global and leading company in its industry, is looking to appoint a German Tax Expert to take the lead and manage all German direct tax affairs of the group. The role is based in Luxembourg city or Duisburg, Germany.

This is well suited to a German tax trained professional with around 5-10 years’ experience in German direct tax which can be gained from either a consulting firm or a multinational company.

Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, the German Tax Lead will be responsible for managing all German tax advisory & planning projects, providing tax advice to the business, handling tax audits, being the key point of contact for any German tax issues and building strong relationship with all stakeholders. The role also includes managing the German tax compliance process (fully outsourced to an external advisor) and providing support on international tax advisory matters across multiple jurisdictions.
