Interim UK Tax Manager job based in Bristol, requires a UK Corporate Tax Manager for a minimum of 6 months, possibly up to 12 months, in this tax job in Bristol.
Supporting the tax function, and managing the tax affairs for this business who have gone through an acquisition, the role reports to the Head of Tax for one part of the business, and also reports to the Finance Director for the new business.
Hybrid working is on offer, with being in their central Bristol office for 2-3 days per week and working from home for the remainder of the week.
Key aspects of the role which need to be managed are:
* UK tax compliance and reporting - the preparation of the VAT and corporate tax returns, and preparation of corporate tax accounting disclosures.
* Liaising with stakeholders - this includes building a close relationship with the finance team and also with external auditors and HMRC.
* Business partnering - to add value within the business from a tax perspective.
* Tax strategy - working with the Head of Tax on the shape and influence of the tax strategy.
To be considered for this role you will have a UK corporate tax background and be happy to cover compliance and reporting through to building on the strategic aspects of the role. You will be immediately available, or soon to be available, and happy to work in a mix of office work and home work in Bristol.
