Group Tax Manager (Fully Remote, In-House)

A leading construction company who have experienced extreme growth in recent years are currently seeking a Group Tax Manager. This is a newly created and rare opportunity to join a prestigious function that is known for hiring top talent.

This is an extremely broad and all-encompassing role covering all aspects of tax not just in a compliance sense, also with the opportunity to add a value by getting involved with ongoing advisory projects.

This role can also be considered as a temp-to-perm option.

Responsibilities:
- Corporate tax and VAT compliance, including the preparation, review and submission of corporate tax returns in conjunction with external advisors
- Manage employment tax matters for the group including annual PAYE compliance, ownership of PSAs, P11D
- Work closely with the Head of Tax on cross boarder issues and transfer pricing
- Manage relationship with HMRC and external advisors

Requirements:

- ACA/CTA/ACCA qualified with good PQE within an industry role (sector relevant experience would be beneficial)
- Proven corporate tax experience from a strategic and compliance perspective
- Exposure to VAT beneficial
- Excellent relationship builder, comfortable dealing with key stakeholders
