Senior VAT Analyst - Pure Advisory

The position will have an advisory focus, dealing with VAT related issues across the EMEA region. The business is highly acquisitive and as such there will be a number of varying projects to be involved in. Working closely with the Indirect Tax Director and other members of this tax team, this role will require a highly commercial and technical VAT specialist capable of stepping outside their comfort zone. This role is aimed at providing technical VAT advice and guidance with the aim of supporting business operations.

Responsibilities:

* Providing VAT advice on business projects and ensuring accurate reporting on the impact of these projects
* Working to maximise efficiency and VAT liabilities by reviewing and developing methods of working
* Supporting the month end process
* Liaising with Tax Authorities and responding to any queries
* Maintaining Global VAT Risk and minimising the potential risks on the company and its customers

About you:

* CTA/ACA/ACCA qualification preferred
* Experience of EU VAT would be advantageous
* Strong VAT technical skills
* High emotional intelligence with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
