Corporate Tax Advisory Manager required by Birmingham Accountancy Firm

Your new company
An entrepreneurial Accountancy Firm in Birmingham is looking for a Corporate Tax Advisory Manager to join their established team. As the CT Advisory Manager in this Firm you will be the tax technical lead on all their UK projects which are largely borne out of their German headquarters. The Firm work with a wide range of large businesses across the UK with European headquarters, ensuring they are compliant with UK laws and maximising their tax impact.

Your new role
As the Corporate Tax Advisory Manager, you will lead this Firm's UK Tax team in the delivery of all their tax elements to their UK Client base. Managing tax projects, taking the lead on all technical tax issues, liaising with all internal stakeholders in the UK and Europe, on each project, along with growing the department and building close relationships with overseas colleagues. The CT Advisory Manager will be the day to day lead contact on all UK Tax projects with key duties being: -

* UK Group restructuring and simplification (using methods such as intercompany loan waivers, substantial shareholding exemption, capital reductions, dividend in specie, strike offs etc.)
* Due diligence projects
* Permanent establishment (PE) reviews & PE vs Limited company advice
* Transfer pricing
* Research and development
* Capital allowances
* Double tax relief and cross border ad hoc queries
* HMRC clearances if required

What you'll need to succeed
This Firm is looking for a candidate who is ACA/ICAS/CTA or ATT qualified with experience in corporate tax and strong communication skills to build both internal and external relationships.
