Your new company is a high street giant and supplier of consumer goods. The role will be based in the companies impressive HQ in the heart of the City of London.

Your new role
You will report to the highly experienced direct tax manager and will have a broad and varied role with responsibility to prepare tax figures and disclosures for inclusion in the group accounts. You will prepare UK group corporation tax computations and returns and you will forecast tax figures for budgeting purposes. A key part of the role is supporting the Head of Tax and Direct Tax Manager in providing in-house tax support on corporate projects and initiatives, including obtaining and implementing external tax advice. You will liaise with external advisors providing support on capital allowances and R&D tax relief claims agreeing a suitable budget for external tax advice. You will assist the Direct Tax Manager with HMRC enquiries. You will highlight on a timely basis, direct tax issues emerging from changing legislation and circumstances of the group and support the Direct Tax Manager in responding to such changes. You will also support the Direct Tax Manager, Head of Tax and Director of Group Finance as appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed
ACA (ICAEW) and or CTA with relevant experience in a big 4 or top 10 professional services firm in Tax. You will have a keenness and willingness to work in a fast paced in a demanding but rewarding environment.
