A well-known multinational gaming group based in Gibraltar is looking for an Indirect Tax Specialist. The company operates some of world's leading brands within the gaming sector. It has licences in several countries and experiencing significant growth overseas. This international opportunity has been created for an indirect specialist to make their mark on the gaming industry. Working for the Head of Tax would provide an excellent exposure for somebody looking for their next challenge in their career.
You will be responsible for advising the Group Director of Tax on indirect tax matters and to take care of the day-to-day activities associated with the group's gambling tax and VAT compliance. As a core member of the team you will be a champion for tax governance and for the group's indirect tax agenda. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely filing of all indirect tax returns and payments.
To be successful in this role you will have a relevant tax or accountancy qualification, supported by a minimum of three years in a professional tax / VAT environment. An interest in gaming and an ability to demonstrate that you are self-motivated and able to lead the indirect tax agenda with minimal supervision. A Strong understanding of indirect tax rules and how they are applied in practice with an ability to communicate with stakeholders across the business.
