Associate Director will have responsibility for:
* Advising on a diverse range of technical work including the development of transfer pricing planning strategies for business model optimisation work and intellectual property planning; compliance programmes; and audit defence strategies;
* Managing the preparation of transfer pricing reports based on economic and financial analyses of the client's business to support their transfer pricing policies with HMRC and other tax authorities;
* Taking a lead in the development of a range of technical analyses;
* Helping clients to satisfy transfer pricing compliance requirements in the UK and overseas countries;
* Developing strategies for the preparation of documentation to support this compliance;
* Providing advice in connection with the application and interpretation of tax treaties, including the recognition of taxable presences/permanent establishments;
* Advising on the exit tax implications arising from business restructuring;
* Assisting with operational transfer pricing aspects to help clients apply policies in practice;
* Building and refining your transfer pricing and wider international tax technical knowledge, developing eminence in certain areas;
* Developing and mentoring junior team members to achieve their potential;
* Working with other senior colleagues to develop new services, offerings and analytical tools;
* Assuming responsibility for practice management, including engagement finances; and
* Having a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; having a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
