APAC Tax Manager, Sydney

This market leading company that is a flag bearer in it's sector that has enjoyed significant growth in recent years. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a tax manager to undertake a broad tax compliance management and advisory role supporting business operations across Asia.

Key duties:

* Management of taxation compliance obligations for all business units in the Asia Pacific region.

* Management of monthly, quarterly and annual tax accounting and internal/external tax reporting obligations in the Asia Pacific region.

* Tax process optimisation for all internal and external taxation obligations

* Ensure transfer pricing policy requirements for the Asia Pacific region are clearly understood and complied with

* Provide direction and support to the Finance and Management Team in relation to the Transfer Pricing recharges including compliance with policies, Intercompany agreements and reporting schedules

* Provide direction and support of all employer taxation obligations and expatriate taxation issues (where required).

* Ensure SOX processes and controls relating to taxation are complied with including review of existing SOX controls and recommending improvements for ineffective controls.
