US Tax Manager/ Senior Manager - Hong Kong

An interesting opportunity to join the Financial Services / US tax team to work on AEoI (FATCA/CRS and QI) in Hong Kopg. A leader in the market, the firm in question is looking to strengthen its practice at Manager and Senior Manager level, and are looking for an ambitious and experienced FS/US Tax expert to join the team.

You will be responsible for;
- FS Tax advisory: interpreting and implementing a number of U.S. tax forms (e.g. Form 1099 series, W-2/8/9 series, 941, 945, and 1042), Drafting policies and procedures, as well as implementation techniques
- Tax Transparency: analyses of the new global information reporting and withholding rules, monitoring various business impacts, and providing direct assistance to clients on these matters
- Growing your client portfolio (mainly Global Banks, Insurers and Asset Managers)
- Developing and mentoring junior members of the team and new hires

You will:
- Have extensive experience of working either in house and/or a global consulting firm in the US Tax or broader FS Tax space
- Have gained great understanding of AEoI and assisted with implementing FATCA
- CPA qualified or other accounting qualification desirable
- Excellent inter-personal and management skills
- Cantonese and Mandarin a plus
- Previous experience in ASIAPAC highly beneficial
